I have a privilege to witness this rare nature phenomenon the Solar Eclipse from my hometown Medan, Indonesia. This is my first ever Solar Eclipse and with the sun covered up to 80%+ it is an amazing sight to see it myself.
It started very early in the morning just before the sunrise, so I only catch the eclipse right during sunrise. It is so special, the sun appeared like a red fireball but missing some part which is blocked by the moon shadow. Very special sight!
Lucky for me that I have ND filter 1000X handy for my camera. And since it is dangerous to look directly to the sun my my bare eyes, so I decided to grab welder’s glass to cover my eyes while looking directly to the sun to help me compose for my photos.
Here are the photos of the whole sequences, Enjoy!
