Everyone definitely heard about Borobudur Temple if they talk about Indonesia. But, little know that there are many more significant temples spread across Java and Sumatra island which emerge right after Borobudur and Prambanan Temples. I will start by showing several temple/candi around the Central Java. From Mendut, Pawon, Sewu, and Arjuna Temples.

Then, we move on to the Eastern Java which starting from the temple around Singhasari/Singosari Kingdom era. Most of the temple during this era was constructed with white Andesite stone. Most of the temple during this time use to honor the King who ever ruled during the whole Kingdom era. The structure of the temples in this era was influenced by Hindu.
- Singasari Temple (Candi Singasari) use to honor the last King of Singasari King Kertanegara.

- Sumberawan Temple (Candi Sumberawan)
- Candi Kidal (Kidal Temple)
- This temple was built to honor King Anusapati
- Garudeya is the inspiration for Indonesia first President Soekarno to make Garuda Bird as the national symbol.
- The Lion Statue at the base of Kidal Temple looks like it support the temple.
- Candi Jago (Jajaghu) was built to honor King Sri Jaya Wisnuwardhana (4th King of Singasari)

Right after Singosari Kingdom, the famous Majapahit Kingdom arise. The temples around this area was made with the signature red brick.
